Rotterdam

Recently, I visited Rotterdam because of the Fieldtrip that was organised by the Academy for Leisure at BUas.

I was truly amazed by what this city can offer to potential leisure experts like me. I found out that Rotterdam has an extremely rich and diversified offer in terms of leisure, which makes it an excellent city to host leisure events, to start a business or to just entertain yourself with various leisure activities.

Helsinki

This year (2020) I had the honor to visit Finland and more specifically its beautiful capital - Helsinki. During the third semester of my studies, together with my classmates, we had the opportunity to join a trip with leisure aspects, organized by the Academy for Leisure at BUas. Helsinki is well-settled city with thousands of possibilities to experience leisure in both fun and professional ways.

Guest lectures

Very important role in one´s professional development is attending guest lectures and ted talks. The more information you have about an expert´s experiences - the better!

Canada

For one of the courses during this year (2020) called ´Playground´ we created, planned and executed a leisure-related event, which topic was ´Leisure in Canada´. Our idea´s concept was interactions between the guests to be created in an educational and competitive way. Information about the national and touristic leisure in Canada was given, as well as typical canadian pancackes with maple syrop were served as a reward for the winners of the settled quizzes and puzzles.

This event was full of joy and adventures!
